The U.S.S. Altair AKS-32 had our first reunion at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel, Norfolk, VA May 13-15, 2004. It was a resounding success and all had a great time swapping tales, sea stories and visiting with each other. Congratulations to reunion chairman Ira Rubin for setting up such a great reunion!
The Latest On The Next Reunion
We had a mini reunion on the 27-28 of Oct 2007 with about 28 members present, to decide on when and where we are going to have the next BIG reunion. It has been decided. Mark your calendars for our next 'major' Altair reunion for October 24, 25 and 26, 2008! (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) The reunion will be held at the Courtyard By Marriott, 1000 Commons Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. Reservations 877-502-4653 and the rate for a King room is $69. More information will follow via email, snail mail and this web site as soon as available. Make your reservation early!
